6 SMART HABITS TO KEEP YOU MOTIVATED FOR THE WEEK

Staying motivated throughout the week is not an easy task.

Even after an amazing start to the week, we all feel exhausted by the time mid-week arrives. No matter how you like to start your week, there are things you can do to ensure every day of the week gets off to a great start.

Here are a few simple habits that can help you stay motivated during the entire week.

1.Start Early from Home.

Set your alarm for half an hour before the time you set regularly. If you would wake up half an hour early, you will be able to make it on time. Waking up early in morning can give you a lot of time for yourself.

2. Challenge Yourself.

One of the easiest things you can do to motivate yourself at the workplace is to take your tasks as a challenge. This way, you can easily convince yourself that you can do it. People like challenges and they feel good when they complete the planned work for the day.

3. Break up Your Tasks.

Breaking up the tasks into smaller components makes it easier to see where the obstacles are. It takes lesser hard work and saves energy for other responsibilities and work undertaken by you.

4. Be time conscious.

Sometimes at work, we end up losing time while attending others' requests and make ourselves available for them. This activity disrupts our workflow. Prioritize your work, put some time aside for your tasks to be done for the day, before you attend to other requests.
This practice will help you save time and energy both.

5. Keep affirmations where you can see them.

It’s so easy to get sucked into feeling exhausted or frustrated.  A negative mind-set sucks up mental bandwidth and energy that you need to stay focused and successful. Affirmations are positive, powerful statements you make to put yourself in the right frame of mind. Examples like “You’ve got this, “You are enough”, “I am as good as what I learn, what I create, who I influence and what I inspire today” etc. can help you to maintain an optimistic attitude in the face of setbacks.

6. Stimulate your brain with nutrition.

It's no secret that a healthy diet is important for a healthy lifestyle. If you're struggling to find the energy you need to get things done, you may want to consider adjusting your levels of nutrition. Certain foods are known to improve higher brain function, leading to an increase in motivation.

Creating lifelong success requires a great deal of motivation. Everyone struggles with motivation at one point or another - especially in the workplace.

Implementing these habits into your daily routine will increase your motivation and bring you closer to reaching your long-term goals.
