1. Mnemba Island, Tanzania

Mnemba Island is a single small island located about 3 km off the northeast coast of Unguja, the largest island of the Zanzibar Archipelago, Tanzania.

It is a popular scuba diving site, with a wide variety of corals and associated species, as well as occasional sightings of larger species such as turtles and dolphins. Mnemba is renowned as one of the most romantic ocean destinations in the world,

2. Bom Bom Island, Príncipe, Sao Tome.

Bom Bom is a tiny islet off the north coast of Príncipe. This magical island is almost completely forested. However, there’s a tourist resort near the island.

If you are looking for a magical paradise, the exotic aroma of tropical fruits and flowers are sure to engulf you.

3. Quirimbas Archipelago, Mozambique

The Quirimbas Archipelago consists of 32 islands off the northern coast of Mozambique, stretching up to the border with Tanzania. The reef islands are strung together by sand bars and mangrove swamps.

One of the most sought-after seaside hideouts on the continent, the Quirimbas Archipelago is made up of unspoilt powder-white beaches, palm trees, and turquoise waters and each one of the islands has a story to tell.

4. Anse Source D'Argent, Seychelles

If you are thinking clear water, golden sand, and imposing granite formations, the Anse Source d’Argen is for you!

The absolutely breath-taking scenery makes it one of the most picturesque beaches anywhere in the world.

5. Likoma Island, Malawi

Likoma Island is one out of two islands in Lake Malawi. The larger of the two islands, it lies within Mozambican waters but is territorially part of Malawi. On the white sandy beaches of Likoma Island you will find untouched wilderness. Be sure to visit the cathedral if you ever visit!
