Cash, Free Airtime and Nokia Phones on Offer in UBA Verve Card promo

Few joys are comparable to making a call with free air time on a free phone you just won, and spending free cash. This rare joy is what United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc and Verve Card are offering customers who go cashless between now and November 30, 2014.

What makes this offer even more exciting is that, it is coming in the season of high spending when parents and guardians take children on vacation and come back to contend with paying school fees. The offer from UBA and Verve Card is therefore set to cool the frayed nerves on rising post-vacation expenditure.

Between now and November 30, 2014, UBA customers who use their Verve Card to pay for transactions stand the chance of winning both free airtime on their phones, free Nokia Phones and cool cash in their pockets to spend as they deem fit.

 In the new promotion offer from UBA and Verve Card, cardholders who initiate a minimum of five POS or VAS (value added service) transactions on the ATM worth N1, 000 or more will stand a chance to win N1, 000 airtime.

Cardholders who do transactions worth N2, 000 or more on these channels stand a chance to win N3, 000 airtime plus mobile phones.

Value added Services (VAS) on an ATM is when UBA customers use the ATM to pay for transactions like phone bills, cable TV bills or transfer funds from their UBA bank account to another.

Also a minimum of 40 customers, who on a monthly basis, initiate a minimum of five POS transactions or Web transactions valued at a minimum of N10, 000 or more would win N5, 000 top up on their e-Cash account.

There is even more; a grand reward of a monthly cashback of N35, 000 for 10 Cardholders who initiate transactions at any Verve Reward Merchant location valued at a minimum of N2, 000 or more.

The promotion is already creating excitement among UBA customers as many of them are using or reactivating their Verve Cards to stand a chance of winning the prizes on offer.  This is line with the aim of the promotion, which is to encourage and reward UBA Verve cardholders who initiate cashless transactions during this pre-summer or back to school season.

Speaking on the promotion, Mr. Charles Ifedi, CEO Verve International, expressed his delight in partnering with UBA to reward new and existing Verve cardholders.
