The Easter weekend has started out as a movie as we are witnessing the fusion between the home-grown and diaspora. The relationship between Nigeria and the diaspora grows seemingly every passing day and Homecoming makes it all even better.

This year, UBA partnered with Homecoming Lagos to give Nigerians the best Easter weekend.
From the 19th to the 22nd Lagos will witness a four-day cultural exchange during the Easter weekend.

The first two days will see a retail pop up event where guests will shop local brands and global brands.

There’ll also be the homecoming cup and then on the 21st, international act, Skepta will share the stage with local acts such as Teni, Simi, DRB, Runtown to mention a few for the live show on Sunday.

The Homecoming Lagos sheds light on the importance of the creative industry in Lagos and Nigeria at large. It brings an entirely new spotlight to the culture in Lagos and Nigeria and UBA could not have been prouder to be a part of it.
#UBAHomecomingLagos will definitely put the “culture” on the map.

The first day already kicked off at the XII Glover, Lagos and it was an amazing experience as it had editorial showcases of designs created by each both local and international brands.

There was music and a panel session and Africa’s Global Bank was there to add some color to the event. The atmosphere was energetic, vibrant and youthful.

The pop up continues today and will to be a blast
The #UBAHomecomingLagos promises to be an unforgettable experience as we will be telling our own cultural stories through music, fashion and sports and education.
