The presence of UBA in the banking industry in Zambia over the last 10 years has galvanized banking onto a higher performance level; where competition and innovation in responding to the needs of the customer have become the driving force of the industry. UBA’s world class customer-driven innovations have earned it the confidence of the Zambian public; as it continues to provide banking services to a wide variety of customers.

People experience the benefits of evolving technologies on a daily basis in various spheres of their lives. They therefore demand the same from their banks. It is predominantly through technology that banks will enhance their operational flexibility, optimise business processes and generally keep pace with innovation and social phenomena.

At UBA Zambia, we have had to adapt, adjust, re-invent ourselves to ultimately remain relevant in the eco-system boasting of some awards such as the 2018 International Finance Banking Award Best Digital Bank in Zambia and the 2019 best innovative bank with SME packages by the Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Moving forward, UBA Zambia will continue developing digital banking capabilities that will enhance financial inclusion.
